Despite Collecting Nine Hits, Charlottesville Tom Sox Falls To Waynesboro Generals
Charlottesville Tom Sox fell 8-4 to Waynesboro Generals on Sunday despite out-hitting them nine to five.

Waynesboro Generals took the lead for good with six runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Malik Stephens singled off of Justin Sorokowski, driving in two runs and Long hit a grand slam off of Connor Gillispie, driving in four runs.
Payton Kinney earned the win for Waynesboro Generals. He pitched five innings, allowing three runs, six hits, and striking out four. Sorokowski took the loss for Charlottesville Tom Sox. He tossed four and a third innings, allowing six runs, two hits, and striking out six.
