
Four Tom Sox Named To All-South Division Teams
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.– Four Tom Sox have been named to the 2025 VBL All-South Division teams,the Valley League announced last week.
James Nunnallee (OF, Mississippi State)is the only player for Charlottesville that was selected to the first team, and he was a unanimous selection to the All-South outfield. In 18 games, Nunnallee posted a .375 AVG with a home run, four doubles, 18 RBI, and 16 stolen bases. He also finished with a .958 OPS and 10 walks.
Jackson Sirois (2B, Maryland), Kyle Langley (OF, James Madison),andTrevor Booton (P, Auburn)were all selected to the second team.
Sirois played in 37 of Charlottesville’s 44 games, and finished the season with a .265 AVG. His 27 walks led the Tom Sox, and he drove in 17 runs. Sirois had four hits in the South Division Semifinals at Staunton, the most in a single game by any Tom Sox player this season.
Langley hit for a .268 AVG in 39 games, which was the best mark among all qualified players. He led the ‘Sox with 40 hits, and was second on the team with 25 RBI. Langley set a Tom Sox season-high by driving in five runs in game one of the Valley League Championship Series at Strasburg.
Booton was one of the best relievers in the Valley League in 2025, posting a 1.40 ERA in 19.1 innings. He led the Tom Sox in appearances (14), recorded two saves, and struck out 18 batters. Booton’s three and two thirds scoreless innings in the South Division Championship against Culpeper helped send Charlottesville to its fourth straight Valley League Championship Series.
