'Sox Across The Nation: Week Seven
Official roster announcements start today for the newest batch of Tom Sox players, but that doesn’t mean we stop talking about our former stars. We’re coming up on the halfway point of the college baseball season.

Official roster announcements start today for the newest batch of Tom Sox players, but that doesn’t mean we stop talking about our former stars. We’re coming up on the halfway point of the college baseball season.

When the first pitch is thrown in the MLB season on Wednesday, three former Tom Sox players will be a part of a major league roster: Wyatt Langford, Vinnie Pasquantino, and Trey Yesavage who each spent full seasons with Charlottesville.

The fifth edition of ‘Sox across the nation will be the most diverse listing of leagues we’ve had in an article yet. From the Majors, to the World Baseball Classic and the collegiate ranks, let’s talk about some of the best showings from Tom Sox alumni last week.

Vinnie Pasquantino, 2017 Valley Baseball League Champion, became the first player in WBC history to record a three-home run game yesterday (March 11th).

We are less than 80 days until the Tom Sox take to the field to begin the Valley League season. But in the meanwhile, some former ‘Sox are making waves across the baseball world.

Another week of baseball means another week of ‘Sox Around the Nation. The World Baseball Classic is on the horizon, plus Spring Training & College baseball continue to roll on.
