SPRING 2023

  • Played in 25 games with eight starts (4-CF, 4-RF) as team went 29-27 and advanced to the SEC Tournament
  • Batted .193 (3-for-29) with one double, one home run and five RBI plus was 3-for-4 in stolen bases
  • First career hit was a home run in a 9-4 win at Georgia Southern 
  • Went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI in an 8-3 win over Georgia State at Coolray Field (Lawrenceville, Ga.)
  • Registered a pair of RBI in a 10-9 win at Kennesaw State
  • Fielded a perfect 1.000 with 22 putouts and one assist in 23 total chances

19 Tom Sox Named to All-Conference Teams

A total of 19 Tom Sox players, spanning seasons 2019-24, were named to their respective All-Conference teams this week (beginning May 20). Five of the 19 came from The American, while the remainder were spread out among other conferences near the east coast.

Tom Sox Fall at Strasburg in First Game in Six Days

After five straight days of rain cancellations and postponements, the Charlottesville Tom Sox finally returned to the field Saturday night to face the Strasburg Express on the road. The ‘Sox ultimately fell 4-1, showing some rust as they failed to generate enough offense to take down the new Valley League leaders. 

Tom Sox Defeat Cardinals to Win Third Straight

The Charlottesville Tom Sox faced off against the Front Royal Cardinals on Saturday night, and from the first pitch, the Tom Sox were in control – capturing their third straight victory, 10-7.

Defense Struggles as Tom Sox Drop Third Straight

The Charlottesville Tom Sox took on the Strasburg Express tonight with a home field advantage but suffered their third straight loss, falling by a 5-2 final score.
