Charlottesville Suffers First Road Loss After Comeback Bid Falls Short

The Charlottesville Tom Sox faced the Front Royal Cardinals Sunday at Bing Crosby Stadium, scoring three runs in the ninth but ultimately falling 9-6. Charlottesville entered the game looking to come back from Saturday night’s loss and to continue their consecutive 6-game win streak against the Cardinals, but ultimately fell three runs short and lost their first road game of the young season.
