In what was the highest scoring game of the season for Charlottesville, a huge fifth-inning rally and a grand slam from Cooper Blauser weren't enough to earn a win on Women in Sports and Host Family Appreciation Night at Charlottesville High School.

‘Sox Slug Past Staunton on Scorching Sunday

On a blazing Sunday afternoon at Charlottesville High School, the Charlottesville Tom Sox (22-9) topped the Staunton Braves (13-19), 10-4, on ‘Western Day’ at the ballpark. After the Braves struck early, Colby Wallace (East Carolina) powered the ‘Sox offense with three RBI as Charlottesville caught fire and earned another home victory.

‘Sox Fend off Late Rally to Beat Cavaliers on Holiday Night

Despite the hot and humid weather, the Charlottesville Tom Sox (20-7) celebrated Holidays on the Hill Night with an 8-5 win over the Culpeper Cavaliers (10-14) on Saturday evening at Charlottesville High School.

‘Sox Fall Short in 10-4 Loss at the Turks

A cool night at James Madison University's Eagle Field on Monday set the stage for the first half of a two-part series against the Harrisonburg Turks (13-8). The Charlottesville Tom Sox (17-6) were hoping to get a win in their first game after the VBL’s All-Star Weekend, but instead fell short in a 10-4 loss.
