High School:

  • Four-year varsity letterman and team captain for head coach Jeff Hewitt at Pinecrest High School
  • Hit .374 (79-for-211) in his prep career with 56 runs scored, 18 doubles, four triples, 10 home runs, 70 RBI, 29 stolen bases, 36 walks drawn and a 1.117 OPS
  • Posted a 0.52 earned run average his senior season with 88 strikeouts and 23 walks in 53.2 innings of work
  • Three-time conference pitcher of the year
  • Named to the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association All-State First Team as a junior and senior
  • Helped lead the Patriots to the state finals in 2022 as well as three conference championships
