2023 (Junior): 

  • Posted an 0-1 record and 5.73 ERA in 19 relief appearances as team went 29-27 and advanced to the SEC Tournament
  • In 22 innings, tallied 13 strikeouts and 12 walks as opponents hit .256 against him
  • Provided two scoreless innings of relief against Georgia Southern, Clemson and USC Upstate
  • Only decision on the year came in a road loss to No. 4 Vanderbilt

2022 (Sophomore): 

  • Posted a 2-2 record and 5.28 ERA in a team-high 26 relief appearances as team went 36-23 and advanced to the NCAA Chapel Hill (N.C.) Regional
  • Tallied 30.2 innings pitched with 20 strikeouts and eight walks
  • Made 18 scoreless appearances and only three of 21 inherited runners scored

Lumberjacks Rally to Defeat ‘Sox in Extra Innings

In what marked the fifth meeting between the two ball clubs this summer, the Charlottesville Tom Sox (18-7) and Covington Lumberjacks (10-14) squared off in a midweek clash on Wednesday evening. A late-game rally by the Lumberjacks forced extra innings where they secured a 7-6 victory in the 10th.

After five rain-shortened innings, the Charlottesville Tom Sox (16-4) defeated the Covington Lumberjacks (7-13) 5-1 at Casey Field on Wednesday night.

A balmy evening at Charlottesville High School set the stage for a heated rematch between the Charlottesville Tom Sox (8-3) and the Culpeper Cavaliers (2-8). Having lost to the ‘Sox twice already this season, the Cavaliers hoped to redeem themselves but came up just short in a marathon, eleven-inning ballgame.
