The Charlottesville Tom Sox hosted the Woodstock River Bandits for a two-game set Monday, scoring a combined 20 runs across 14 innings to secure a 3-1 season series victory. They won the first game 11-8 before taking game two 9-3.

After a dominant 8-1 victory on Friday night against New Market, the Charlottesville Tom Sox failed to make it two straight as they fell 6-2 against the Strasburg Express.

Comeback Bid Again Falls Short as Tom Sox Lose Second Straight

After the game against the Lumberjacks was postponed due to bad weather and the loss on Tuesday after a courageous effort, the Charlottesville Tom Sox came to Woodstock on Thursday hoping to regain confidence. However, just like in Tuesday’s game, the comeback attempt fell just short with the Tom Sox falling 5-4.
