When the Valley Baseball League instituted the brand new 10-run rule on all-star weekend, they probably didn’t expect it to be used on 2-straight nights, nonetheless by the same team.. The Charlottesville Tom Sox defied expectations, however, securing their second-straight run-rule victory 11-1 over Harrisonburg.

Tom Sox Stifled by Generals, Fall 9-0

The Charlottesville Tom Sox traveled to Waynesboro Tuesday night, finishing with a losing score of 9-0. The Generals dominated from start to finish, led by a one-hit, six-inning shutout by Seth Logue. The ‘Sox were unable to create any momentum in the game, only recording 3 singles and a walk.

Tom Sox and Turks Set to Face Off in Harrisonburg

The Charlottesville Tom Sox (8-2) will face the Harrisonburg Turks (2-5) tonight in Harrisonburg. It will be broadcast live on the Turks Facebook page. First pitch is set for 7:30 P.M.
