The Staunton Braves defeated the Charlottesville Tom Sox 7-3 on Monday in Staunton. This was the first time in the last seven games the Tom Sox were defeated by the Braves.

The Charlottesville Tom Sox (8-3) will face the Covington Lumberjacks (4-5) tonight at Casey Field. It will be broadcast live on the Lumberjacks Facebook page. First pitch is set for 7 P.M.

The Charlottesville Tom Sox moved to 3-0 on the season against the Covington Lumberjacks with a 10-4 win on the road Saturday night. Lately, walks have been the Tom Sox’ worst enemy, but tonight, they were the team’s best friend, with Covington walking 13 Tom Sox batters, while Charlottesville walked just four. The Lumberjacks also hit four batters throughout the night.
