Tom Sox / Cardinals Suspended

Tonight’s Tom Sox/Cardinals first round playoff game has been suspended due to a pop-up rainstorm. It will be resumed Saturday (July 29) at 7 PM in Front Royal in the top of the second with the Tom Sox leading 1-0.

FRONT ROYAL, Va. – Tonight’s Tom Sox/Cardinals first round playoff game has been suspended due to a pop-up rainstorm. It will be resumed Saturday (July 29) at 7 PM in Front Royal in the top of the second with the Tom Sox leading 1-0.

 

The game was started at 9:24 due to a thunderstorm in Front Royal. This marks the second suspended game to be resumed this season; on July 14, the Tom Sox traveled to Purcellville and played ⅓ of an inning before the game was called due to weather.
