A few roster moves have been made over the last five days.

Carter Cunningham and Christian Martin were added to the squad, while Tristan Bissetta and Charles Crawford were released. Bobby Olsen and Tom Vincent, the team’s two leading pitchers, were put on the 7-day DL.

Cunningham is an infielder and outfielder from East Carolina who just finished a super regional run. He bat .227 in 55 games this season (19 starts), hitting three home runs and 16 RBI. He previously played at Florida Southwestern State (current school of ‘Sox teammate Satchell Norman), batting .235 and being named conference sophomore of the year.

Martin is a middle infielder from Virginia Tech, who also just finished a super regional run. He played in 28 games for the Hokies (11 starts), batting .261 with eight runs, three RBI, and a .859 OPS.
