CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Charlottesville Tom Sox and Covington Lumberjacks will complete their July 9 contest, which was suspended due to inoperable field lights, on Friday, July 19 at 5 p.m.. The resumed game – beginning in the bottom of the fifth with a 2-1 lead for Charlottesville – will be completed before playing the full, nine-inning game that will tentatively begin at 7 p.m. The Tom Sox will host Bark in the Park festivities during the nighttime game, but welcome all dogs to the park for both contests.
The Tom Sox return home on Thursday (July 11) for a date with the Harrisonburg Turks on Virginia Sports Night. Virginia Women’s Soccer player Maggie Cagle and former Virginia Women’s Rowing Head Coach Kevin Sauer will throw out first pitches, with the night’s promotions set to revolve around 2024-25 UVA Athletics.
