Tom Sox Announce 2nd Annual Poker Tournament

The Charlottesville Tom Sox announced their second annual Poker Tournament, to be held on March 23. The event will be held at the Elks Lodge (389 Elk Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22911) for the second-straight year, and will feature traditional poker alongside a silent auction.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Charlottesville Tom Sox announced today (February 2) their second annual Poker Tournament, to be held on March 23. The event will be held at the Elks Lodge (389 Elk Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22911) for the second-straight year, and will feature traditional poker alongside a silent auction. A cash bar will be available for individuals 21+ to partake in during the event.

 

Participants can register for $100 individually, with a majority of the proceeds benefitting the Tom Sox operations budget for the 2024 season. Additionally, individuals or companies can sponsor a table for $500. Individuals and companies are also welcomed to donate items or services to the silent auction for the event. All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible.

Charlottesville Tom Sox Head Coach Randy Tomlin was named the 2024 Valley Baseball League South Division Coach of the Year, the league announced Monday (August 12). Tomlin earned the honor after leading the Tom Sox to the league championship and a league-best 26-13 regular season record.
