The Tom Sox announced their full promotional schedule for the 2023 season, including an opening night ticket deal benefitting fans attending the NCAA Baseball Charlottesville Regional on June 2-4.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Tom Sox announced today (May 30) their full promotional schedule for the 2023 season, including an opening night ticket deal benefitting fans attending the NCAA Baseball Charlottesville Regional on June 2-4. Fans with tickets to any game or session of the Charlottesville Regional at Disharoon Park, featuring 7-seed Virginia, East Carolina, Oklahoma, and Army; will receive free admission and parking to the season opener on June 1 at Charlottesville High School by displaying their ticket at the gate.

The full promotional schedule includes:

JUNE 1: OPENING NIGHT & CHARLOTTESVILLE REGIONAL PREGAME

The Tom Sox open their season and all fans with tickets to the Charlottesville NCAA Regional (featuring Virginia, East Carolina, Oklahoma, and Army) get FREE admission. Former Virginia Cavalier and Baltimore Oriole Tyler Wilson will throw out the first pitch.

Note: This promotion is not associated with the NCAA, University of Virginia, or any participating schools.

JUNE 30: FIRST RESPONDERS NIGHT

All police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders are invited to the ballpark, where they will be honored throughout the night.

JULY 3: MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT

All active-duty military and military veterans are invited to the ballpark, where they will be honored throughout the night. Featuring a special first pitch and singing of the Star-Spangled Banner.

JULY 6: EDUCATOR APPRECIATION NIGHT

All educators, administrators, and related individuals are invited to the ballpark, where they will be honored throughout the night.

JULY 7: CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Happy Holidays! Break out your favorite Christmas garb for Christmas in July, featuring special Christmas-themed promotions, Christmas music, and a ballpark decked in holly.

JULY 12: UVA SPORTS NIGHT

The Tom Sox invite current and former UVA athletes to the ballpark for a night of Cavalier-themed fun. The Tom Sox will honor UVA’s ACC & NCAA championships and feature UVA athletes in pre and in-game promotions. Be sure to know the Good ‘Ol Song before you make it!

JULY 19: BARK IN THE PARK NIGHT

Everyone’s favorite night at the ballpark is back! We welcome our furry friends to the ballpark, where they will be heavily featured in Tom Sox promotions. Weather-permitting, the SPCA will be onsite for adoptions. Note: All dogs must be on a leash

JULY 22: WOMEN IN SPORTS NIGHT

The Tom Sox will spotlight local & national women in sports throughout the night.

Further details on specific promotional nights will be released closer to their dates. Promotions are subject to change.
