CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Charlottesville Tom Sox announced dates for their 2024 summer camps today (January 11). The popular summer camps make their return for three separate sessions in 2024, where kids ages 6-12 can get instruction from the Tom Sox’s roster of elite coaches and players.
Camps will take place on Tuesdays through Fridays in 2024. The three sessions are June 11-14, July 9-12, and July 16-19, and take place from 9 a.m. to noon on each of the four days. Cost for each camper per session is $150; however, host families will receive one free week of camp for every child.
Campers will receive instruction from players and coaches on baseball fundamentals such as hitting, throwing, running, and catching, being taught through a variety of games and group exercises. Each session will be staffed by different groups of players, and thus will feature different varieties of games depending on each player’s style. All camps will take place at the Charlottesville High School baseball field.
Parents who are interested in signing up their kids are encouraged to sign up quickly, as spots fill up fast for all three sessions. For more information and to sign up, parents can visit tomsox.org/summer-camp.
