CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Tom Sox are announcing today (March 4) their third annual Charity Golf Tournament, to be held on Monday, May 20 at Spring Creek Golf Club. Featuring a captain’s choice format, the Tom Sox invite foursomes and individual players for a 9 AM start (7:30 AM registration) at one of Golf Digest’s Top 100 American Public Golf Courses. The event joins the Poker Tournament (March 23 at Elks Lodge) as one of two primary fundraisers for the 2024 summer season.
Registration is $900 for four-person teams and $225 for individuals, who will be grouped together to ensure a team format. The registration fee includes the cart fee, lunch, and swag bags. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.
In addition to the traditional 18-hole scramble format, the tournament will feature a number of exciting on-course challenges and team prizes. An awards ceremony and silent auction will follow the action on the course.
